Casa Lagos
Land subdivision and new build
The plot in question struck me as particularly interesting. Between a row of houses aligned to the street and a last plot with a recessed and rotated position. I saw an opportunity to articulate the two geometries. One volume can correspond to the neighbor above, in its orientation and dimension. Another body, larger, should rotate to align with the building below. This is where the living room and kitchen could go. It would be nice to have a piece acting as a pivot. I'll make a circular staircase. I like it when the voids are a consequence of the volumetry. They each result in a different polygon, so they should have their own characteristics and must contaminate the interior. At the back, the plan suggests a larger void. Feels like a garden to me, with a shaded area and, at the far end, a water tank.
