A life journey that begins in Morocco but doesn't end there. It extends in a geographical sequence, at the very least bizarre – always from south to north.

In Morocco, he collected few memories. Some of them may be just imagination. Regardless, they all converge on a simplicity difficult to describe. The simplicity of existing.

In Lagos, architecture was already part of his plan. Perhaps a consequence of seeing his father drawing houses in paint. Convinced that this would be his path, he managed his investment through a silent selection. Against his will – he completed the subjects that were of little interest to the architecture course. With the wind at his back – he dedicated himself to the subjects that really mattered.

At the University of Évora, he didn't abandon the strategy. Against his will – he completed the subjects that were not relevant to the profession. And, as all angels help when going downhill – he completed the subjects that really mattered to the profession.

Now, he has lived in Lisbon for 5 years. During this period, he divided his time between freelance work and studio work. He acknowledges that this juggling act isn't new, it's simply the adult version of an old strategy. A way of existing that was never entirely free nor entirely rigid – it's built precisely in that interval. This awareness makes something deeper visible, it was never really about the grades, nor even about the profession. These were merely means to make visible the silent search for meaning and pleasure in one's own existence. It is from this understanding that a new conviction arises – to return to the south. Not as a geographical direction (at least for now), but as an inner orientation.
